Serena Williams is known for her fashion, but on Monday the star and professional tennis player looked pretty simple on the tennis court during the Brisbane International. Wearing a yellow top and black bottom, she seemed completely focused on the sport, yet the reporters in Australia have been complaining bitterly about her outfit before the series began. Apparently it was her fashion on Sunday that had everyone uncomfortable as she showed off her figure. “She posed for pictures wearing a short zippy that revealed her bra and considerable cleavage and a tiny pair of yellow cut-off shorts,” writes the News in Australia on Sunday. “Fans and reporters didn't know where to look.” Known for her over the top fashion, usually Serena Williams has loud threads on the court, but this year it seems it isn’t what she wore on court, but off to meet with fans that have everyone a little uncomfortable.
While the celebrity may have people watching her clothes, more are watching her game. On the court she successfully moved forward at the Brisbane International with a first round win over South African Chanelle Scheepers and with a sold-out crowd that mostly came to see the star, it was a great game.  |
